4 Questions You Should Be Asking When Selecting A Telehealth Provider

Is the offering comprehensive?

Look for an offer that has a full range of services. Some telehealth providers can be very specific in their services.

Does the offering meet your employee’s needs?

Since March of 2020 many healthcare providers have begun offering virtual care services. Make sure you choose a provider with a successful track record.

Is there mental health support?

It is no secret that many Canadians are suffering. A recent study conducted by Leger (commission by Teledoc Health) reported that 50% of their respondents experienced a negative mental health impact from COVID-19.

Do you know how to select a provider?

Nearly 40% of Canadians are reporting that their employer has responded to COVID-19 with some type of mental health support.

Employers should strongly consider adding an Employee Assistance Program to assist with the ongoing mental suffering from the impact of COVID-19.
