It’s the role of your Pension Advisor to assist you in the proper management of your retirement program. A properly managed plan translates to better pensions for plan members.

Ask yourself, how many times can I answer YES to the following statements: 

◻  We have a documented governance process & best practices.

◻  We understand our roles & responsibilities as administrators of the plan.

◻  We monitor the performance of our funds at least annually.

◻  We have made changes to our fund line-up in the past 3 years.

◻  Plan members utilize the services of our advisor.

◻  We hold annual enrollment meetings for new staff.

◻  We review our investment management fees annually.

◻  Our fees have been reduced in the past 3 years.

◻  We have a services agreement in place with our advisor.

◻  We understand & approve how our advisor is paid.

◻  We receive annual certification from our advisor that our plan is CAP’s complaint.
